I'm not running Ubuntu, so I can't follow the directions above and am unable to load and verify the proposed Kernel. I have to wait for it to get down to the Linux Mint tools.
So I don't know if this falls on me as the bug reporter, but if somebody running Ubuntu can follow those instructions above, please test this fix. I'm unable. The bot says it will close the bug and remove the fix in 5 days.
