Sorry, I mentioned the codename only (`questing`); it's 25.10. In my case it seems to have stopped occurring after adding `INTEL_DEBUG=reemit` to the system environment, as suggested in the mesa issue. To me that points in the direction of the i915 driver doing something that messes up the environment on top of it, but I'm not experienced enough to go deeper than that.
