I have tried noapic irqpoll but no luck. This is an MSI ER710 laptop that connects to a Trust 7-port USB-hub. All my peripherals are connected to the hub. USB-keyboard and USB-wireless mouse works every now and then. This time both worked at the login screen but stopped working after that. The mouse works if it's connected directly to the laptop. BTW this setup works fine in Vista.
