BTW - this issue does not occur if both monitors are connected to Nvidia
GPU. Even if this issue occurs and the cable connected to iGPU is
physically disconnected - everything else starts working again.

Another way to fix is to change mode from join to mirror and then back
to join. However, this messes up the location of all the previously open
windows.
