Public bug reported:

== Summary ==
  Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 BE1750 stopped working after upgrading from kernel 6.14
to 6.17.
  WiFi works perfectly in Windows and was working on Ubuntu until approximately
1 month ago.

  == Hardware ==
  - System: Alienware (Dell)
  - BIOS: 1.11.0
  - WiFi: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 7 BE1750 [8086:272b] (rev 1a)
  - Subsystem: Rivet Networks [1a56:1774]

  == Software ==
  - Ubuntu 25.04 (Questing)
  - Kernel: 6.17.0-8-generic
  - Firmware: iwlwifi-gl-c0-fm-c0-101.ucode (version 101.6ef20b19.0)
  - Driver: iwlwifi + iwlmld

  == Error ==
  The WiFi adapter fails to initialize with ADVANCED_SYSASSERT error:

  iwlwifi 0000:82:00.0: 0x2010210B | ADVANCED_SYSASSERT
  iwlwifi 0000:82:00.0: retry init count 2
  iwlwifi 0000:82:00.0: Device is not enabled - cannot dump error

  No wlan interface is created. rfkill shows no WiFi device.

  == Troubleshooting Attempted ==
  - Disabled Wi-Fi 7 mode: options iwlwifi disable_11be=1 (no effect)
  - Tried older firmware v100 (same error)
  - Installed linux-modules-iwlwifi-generic (no effect)
  - Disabled power save: power_save=0 (no effect)

  == Regression ==
  WiFi was working on kernel 6.14.x approximately 1 month ago.
  This is a regression introduced in kernel 6.17.

  == Expected Behavior ==
  WiFi should initialize and create wlan0 interface.

  == Actual Behavior ==
  Firmware crashes during initialization, no wireless interface created.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
