That did indeed allow the wifi to work on kernel 6.17-0-1008-oem, but unfortunately still no idce on the sound. Are there other things I can check/do? The symptoms are still the same as on the the previous kernel (6.14.0-37-generic):
1.) No sound when selecting "Speaker - sof-soundwire" from "Output Device" in "Settings -> Sound", but it does show some "activity" when playing the test sounds (the orange bar moves). 2.) Sound is present via headphones when selecting "Headphones - sof- soundwire" 3.) Sound is present vi the external speakers when done over HDMI to an external monitor connected to those speakers. 4.) When opening alsamixer via terminal, selecting "default:0 sof- soundwire" as my sound card after hitting F6, there are *many* entries. Under "Speaker", there isn't a volume slider, and it just shows "00". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2137021 Title: No sound from internal speakers on Ubuntu 24.04.3 kernel 6.14 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2137021/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
