Public bug reported:
Description: Ubuntu 25.10
Release: 25.10
With this rules file missing, the following errors are being thrown at
boot:
55-scsi-sg3_id.rules[31846]: WARNING: SCSI device dm-xx has no device
ID, consider changing .SCSI_ID_SERIAL_SRC in 00-scsi-sg3_config.rules
This should be relatively benign in most circumstances but the error
messages don't help when debugging a boot failure
** Affects: sg3-utils (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
