When the Files GUI application is loaded from the sidebar it will work
for 1 to 5 seconds, then the entire system unrecoverably freezes. The
only way to fix this is force power-off/power-on. Similarly, when
nautilus is loaded from the CLI, it will work for approximately 1 to 5
seconds, then the entire system unrecoverably freezes and the only fix
is a force power-off/power-on. I am unsure what configurations are
prsent that are causing this issue, but I am willing to send whatever
logs or config files are necessary for review.
