Thanks for reporting this one, foo. As per the linked bug, this seems to be fixed in v29. Would you be able to test the docker.io-app package from resolute to see if you can reproduce the issue? Also, would you be able to provide a minimal reproducer so we could verify the fix?
We will update docker to 29.1.2 this cycle (this is being tracked here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/docker.io-app/+bug/2127661), which should fix the issue.
