Hello Björn, Matthew,

I've tested the proposed changes. The procedure looks as follows:

1 - Launch the VM:

# lxc launch ubuntu:noble vm --vm -c limits.cpu=4 -c limits.memory=6GiB

2 - Inside the VM, add the proposed PPA:

# sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mruffell/lp2134985-updates
# sudo apt update

3 - Install the ceph and cephadm packages:

# sudo apt install ceph cephadm

4 - Verify that the correct versions are being used:

# apt-cache policy ceph cephadm

5 - Bootstrap a ceph cluster on the VM:

# sudo cephadm bootstrap --mon-ip 10.143.121.171 --single-host-defaults

6 - After installation is done, the process will show the credentials
needed for the dashboard. We can then log into it to make sure it's
working. I'm attaching an image showing that this works.
