Typing has a noticeable delay before echo. for example, typing ps, the p
is visible a noticeable interval before the s.
Tab completion is also slow. For example, typing 'leaf' and pressing
tab, there is almost a second delay before 'leaftoppm' appears.
This system also has a very slow boot. The Ubuntu logo appears, and
after a few seconds, the screen blanks and then a double ubuntu logo
appears. After some three to five minutes, the boot process continues.
This was reported last year.
The delay in typing just appeared today after a reboot.
