I can confirm, that issue exists in latest Ubuntu 24.04.3 (at least in LxQT and IceWM environments) - onboard 1.4.1-5ubuntu6 package and is fixed in Owen Kent onboard 1.4.3 fork - https://github.com/owenpkent/onboard
