A few apps I have on WSL rely on being able to open a link using the $BROWSER, and wslview seems to be what you should set as that env var if you want Windows interop. "cmd.exe /C start" seems to be a suitable replacement some of the time, but it requires a full URI in order to work and doesn't have the same functionality in certain scenarios.
