I have an update on this. I think we can close it. What occurred was the GFS2 enhancements seemed to cause a race condition / timing issue with our pacemaker iscsi fence agent that was not getting a list of all hosts. The hosts went offline earlier than they previously had during a failure test and they were improperly fenced as a result. This was a very strange one because it only started happening after updating that kernel. I am theorizing that the improvements in there just changed timing in a way that the bug in the fence agent was revealed. Apologies for the false alarm but thank you for taking a look Ian. We can close this one.
