Hi, thanks for opening a bug report! Since this is BIOS-related, could you check your computer manufacturer's website for any BIOS updates available and apply them? That will rule out some variables.
If the problem persists, please try a mainline kernel build to see if the problem is present upstream. Our latest mainline build for amd64 is 6.18.1: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.18.1/ Instructions for installing a mainline kernel are here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds If mainline does not reproduce the issue, we'll need to find the problematic patches within the Ubuntu kernel, did this problem start after any particular upgrade? Do you know of a kernel version for which this problem did not occur? ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ian Whitfield (ijwhitfield) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2136967 Title: Laptop enters sleep / suspend unexpectedly due to repeated ACPI BIOS errors.
