Since this is BIOS-related, could you check your computer manufacturer's
website for any BIOS updates available and apply them? That will rule
out some variables.

If the problem persists, please try a mainline kernel build to see if the 
problem is present upstream. Our latest mainline build for amd64 is 6.18.1:

If mainline does not reproduce the issue, we'll need to find the
problematic patches within the Ubuntu kernel, did this problem start
after any particular upgrade? Do you know of a kernel version for which
this problem did not occur?
