Discussed with the Debian maintainer, he will add some dependency versioning in the next upload so that this problem does not happen again.
** Description changed: swiftlang is ftbfs in arm64. It needs swiftlang-dev from resolute to build it. But since the amd64 build has already completed and the binaries published before the 'arm64' builds started so its now trying to pull swiftlang-dev/6.1.3-3 from resolute-proposed. But swiftlang-dev/6.1.3-3 has a dependency on the arch:any packages and so swiftlang-dev/6.1.3-3 can not be installed on arm64. This is not a permanent solution and this same problem can happen anytime again. One solution can be that swiftlang-dev be made "Architecture: amd64 arm64" like libswiftlang, swiftlang then this problem should not happen. - Please remove swiftlang from resolute-proposed for now. + Please remove swiftlang from resolute-proposed for now. And I can then + sync it manually and maybe cancel amd64 builds until arm64 builds + starts. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2137619 Title: RM: please remove swiftlang from resolute-proposed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/swiftlang/+bug/2137619/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
