Hi, thanks for opening a bug report, and going through the effort of
submitting patches!

Since these patches are currently in review, we'd prefer to wait for
them to be applied upstream before pulling them in, so that the Ubuntu
kernel does not have to carry more out-of-tree patches than necessary.
Once they've been approved, you're welcome to open an SRU request on the
mailing list to get these patches looked at ASAP, otherwise they're
likely to either come in via regular stable channel backports or when an
engineer is assigned to do the backports outright, though I can't
guarantee when that will be.
