Hi,
thanks for reporting this, can you please give us the version of openoffice.org
you are using (by running 'dpkg -l openoffice.org')
and also the component of openoffice.org (oowriter,oocalc, ooimpress or oobase)
where this issue occurs.
Note: the context menu in text areas (frames) in oowriter and ooimpress
(version 2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 of openoffice.org) do have 'copy' and 'paste' entries
