dkms autoinstall on 6.14.0-1019-oem/x86_64 failed for rtl8851bu(10) -----------------------------------
This is not a bug with Ubuntu or the kernel. The error occurs because you installed old kernel modules for Realtek wireless adapters that are unsupported with newer kernels. Your laptop has an Intel wireless adapter, so I'm not sure why you're trying to do that. You should remove the rtl8851bu and rtl88x2bu modules. If you actually have an external/USB Realtek RTL8851BU adapter, use an updated kernel module for it if it does not work with in-kernel module: https://github.com/morrownr/rtw89 ** Package changed: linux-oem-6.14 (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Invalid ** Summary changed: - package linux-headers-6.14.0-1019-oem 6.14.0-1019.19 failed to install/upgrade: installed linux-headers-6.14.0-1019-oem package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 11 + rtl8851bu 0.2 fails to build with kernel 6.14 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138096 Title: rtl8851bu 0.2 fails to build with kernel 6.14 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2138096/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
