** Description changed:

  Package: sponsorship-requests
  Severity: wishlist

  Dear mentors,

  I am looking for a sponsor for my package "crystal-dock":

   * Package name     : crystal-dock
     Version          : 2.16-0ubuntu1
     Upstream contact : Viet Dang <[email protected]>
   * URL              : https://github.com/dangvd/crystal-dock
   * License          : HPND-sell-variant or NTP~disclaimer, GPL-3,
  Expat-CMU, LGPL-2.1
   * Vcs              : https://github.com/ubuntubudgie/crystal-dock/tree/debian
     Section          : misc

  The source builds the following binary packages:

    crystal-dock - Wayland dock with cross-desktop support

  The code can be grabbed and built via:

  gbp clone https://github.com/ubuntubudgie/crystal-dock
  cd crystal-dock
- git checkout debian/latest
+ git checkout ubuntu/latest
  sbuild -d resolute --no-clean

  Alternatively this package is available in our unstable test PPA

  https://launchpad.net/~ubuntubudgie-dev/+archive/ubuntu/wayland-test

  (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntubudgie-dev/+archive/ubuntu/wayland-
  test/+sourcepub/18044914/+listing-archive-extra)

  Notes:

  I am the project lead for Ubuntu Budgie. Crystal Dock is a vital package
  for our 26.04 LTS experience.

  I have been sponsored through Debian for crystal-dock v2.15 via mentors.
  This version is currently in the very lengthy ftp-master queue.

  It is for this reason I am asking for the package to be uploaded to Ubuntu
due to the short
  deadlines with the upcoming freeze date for resolute.

  I can confirm I will be applying via the DMB for crystal-dock to be added to
our
  packageset to allow crystal-dock to be maintained under the Ubuntu Budgie
  umbrella of packages.

  Note - I can also confirm that once accepted by ftp-master I will be
  maintaining crystal-dock via Debian

  As per debian mentors:

   d/copyright was created using cme update dpkg-copyright, followed by
  reworking the suggestions and completing the license statements. I
  did a spot check to confirm the results.

  The remaining lintian warning about the missing man-page due to a
  /usr/bin binraryI have approached the maintainer here
  https://github.com/dangvd/crystal-dock/issues/192

  I have built via a sbuild unshare on the current resolute. Myself and the
team have been
  testing this app regularly during its last 6 months of development and
  the maintainer is very active and engaged with feedback etc.

  Regards,
