Public bug reported:

With the gnome-snapshot app (the Camera app of the gnome desktop) in
this StarLabs Lite tablet, the front camera works, but the back camera
gives an error: "could not play camera stream".

Whereas in the same tablet, the Signal Destkop app (v 7.84.0 production)
can use both cameras without issue – hence this bug report.

With lsusb I can see both cameras listed:
