Do you have any sort of password expiry policy in place on your system
(e.g. common on DigitalOcean deployments)?
I'm seeing the following error in your DpkgTerminalLog:
```
Setting up swtpm-tools (0.6.3-0ubuntu3.3) ...
Adding group `swtpm' (GID 139) ...
Done.
Warning: The home dir /var/lib/swtpm you specified can't be accessed: No such
file or directory
Adding system user `swtpm' (UID 130) ...
Adding new user `swtpm' (UID 130) with group `swtpm' ...
You are required to change your password immediately (password expired).
chfn: PAM: Authentication token is no longer valid; new one required
adduser: `/bin/chfn -f virtual TPM software stack swtpm' returned error code 1.
Exiting.
[1mdpkg:[0m error processing package swtpm-tools (--configure):
installed swtpm-tools package post-installation script subprocess returned
error exit status 1
```
Which indicates that your /etc/shaddow as a "0" in the 3rd field of your
user, enforcing a password change. Once that is resolved, libvirt should
install correctly, as this seems to be unrelated to libvirt.
** Summary changed:
- package libvirt-daemon-system 8.0.0-1ubuntu7.15 failed to install/upgrade:
installed libvirt-daemon-system package post-installation script subprocess
returned error exit status 1
+ package libvirt-daemon-system 8.0.0-1ubuntu7.15 failed to install/upgrade:
You are required to change your password immediately (password expired).
** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
