@carlos thank you so much for clarifying that. Also I will add the changing the clocksource from tsc to acpi_pm didn't help either. Has anyone tried an external keyboard? If the key repeat with an external USB keyboard, then we can exclude PS2 connection from the cause of the problem. RN I'm trying to fix it by isolating a cpu and devoting it to exclusively handle irq1. If that fails, I will try to limit that cpu C states and frequency scaling.
