it is the same now, as stated then -- `-l`, even though available for `unlzma` states
-l, --list list information about .xz files reproducible on xz-utils 5.8.2-1 on resolute. I agree that this is "wishlist" as docs clearly state what is supported currently. I don't see an upstream ask for this functionality, and this ticket laid dormant for almost a decade. I suggest that if there is a want for `-l` for LZMA, an upstream request at `xz-utils` is the appropriate way now https://github.com/tukaani-project/xz/issues ** Tags added: dcr-freezer ** Changed in: hundredpapercuts Status: Triaged => Opinion ** Changed in: xz-utils (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Opinion -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1291020 Title: unlzma -l fails to recognize files created by lzma To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/1291020/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
