It appears this has already been reported in bug 2138185, and according
to the discussion on https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/issues/10182,
it sounds like this is already fixed upstream. However, I have not yet
tested myself. We should have 0.5.0 in the archive soon from what I have
heard, so I will re-test once that is uploaded.
