Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
When suspending the PC, it enters standby mode normally. Upon waking it up,
only a black screen appears listing some running processes. If you press
Shift+ALT+F6, you can enter commands in the TTY console, but commands such as
shutting down or rebooting the PC do not work. Pressing Shift+ALT+F2 allows you
to return to the GNOME desktop, but you lose internet access, cannot shut down
or reboot the PC, and attempting to log out results in an indefinite black
screen. You can still save projects and open some programs. However, opening
the terminal and entering shutdown commands only returns messages that a
shutdown or sleeping process is already in progress, with no results even after
long waits. The only way out is to force a physical power-off of the PC.
