When cranking questing:gcp during the 2026.01.12 cycle, we chose to drop
the original revert of these two patches prior to cranky rebase:

"Revert x86/mtrr: Rename mtrr_overwrite_state() to guest_force_mtrr_state()"
"Revert x86/kvm: Override default caching mode for SEV-SNP and TDX"

As a result, the rebase dropped these 4 patches. The latter two were
dropped due to a stable kernel update which happened in the base kernel.

"x86/mtrr: Rename mtrr_overwrite_state() to guest_force_mtrr_state()"
"x86/kvm: Override default caching mode for SEV-SNP and TDX"
"x86/kvm: Prefer native qspinlock for dedicated vCPUs irrespective of PV_UNHALT"
"x86/kvm: Force legacy PCI hole to UC when overriding MTRRs for TDX/SNP"

The cranky rebase step then applied:

"x86/kvm: Make kvm_async_pf_task_wake() a local static helper"

This was the only commit brought in by the rebase.
