The problem persists. On my system (Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS), it doesn't happen consistently. It often occurs when I first use the i3 window manager, then reboot computer and log into GNOME 46.
When the calendar crash happens, dmesg shows this: [ 73.058566] traps: gnome-calendar[4763] trap int3 ip:761bb554905f sp:7ffd7a174420 error:0 in libglib-2.0.so.0.8000.0[6205f,761bb5505000+a0000] It's also worth noting that during these crashes, other apps like the terminal fail to start normally—they launch with a long delay. ** Attachment added: "journal.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-calendar/+bug/2077064/+attachment/5939591/+files/journal.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2077064 Title: gnome calendar crashes on startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-calendar/+bug/2077064/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
