Public bug reported:

I am running Ubuntu. I do not manage to install balena-
etcher:amd64=1.19.25. The error message says it Depends on libgdk-
pixbuf2.0-0 but none of the choices are installable. So, this is the
first bug, I cannot install balena-etcher. I tried the app version that
I do not need to install but just double click on the engine icon but
the app does not open either......

Besides that, if I try the Using Startup Disk Creator (Recommended for Ubuntu
ISOs). Following the steps, I
Open Startup Disk Creator (search in Applications) and I try to Select your
downloaded ISO file in the "Source disc image" section. Choose your USB drive
in the "Disk to use" section (double-check it's the right one!). Click Make
Startup Disk and enter your password when prompted.

The problem here, that I call the second bud, is that I CANNOT SELECT
THE DOWNLOADED ISO FILE IN THE SOURCE DISC IMAGE SECTION.I SELECT THE
ISO THAT I HAVE DOWNLOADED BUT IT IS NO USE I DO NOT MANAGE TO INSERT IT
IN THE SOURCE DISC IMAGE!!!

So neither balena-etcher, nor Startup Disk Creator can be run!

Thank you!
