In such cases there is no over-documenting. We will be confused at times what was and what was not tested - this will help and we can expand it as we test more until we know what the root cause might be.
If anything I'd say let us more it to the description of the case, where we can both edit and order them not by your hosts (I understand you need to for your tests and that is ok), but by the versions as it should then more easily show how we narrow down to the change that fixed it. As you keep reporting results here (verification view) I can update the list there (developer view) ** Description changed: A number of issues reported in the CloudStack (CS) projects appear to be correlated with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. The main issue is documented here: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/issues/11141 From my perspective, the CS Agent is not handling certain unusual or unexpected behaviors introduced by libvirt version 10.0.0-2ubuntu8.9. What motivates me to report this upstream is that the problem does not occur on any other Linux distribution, nor does it occur on earlier Ubuntu LTS releases (20.04 or 22.04). Recently, one of the CS developers confirmed that libvirt version 10.6.0-1ubuntu3.3, from Ubuntu 24.10, works correctly when installed on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. If more details are needed, feel free to reach out. We operate multiple production environments experiencing these issues daily, as well as non- production environments that we can use to test and validate potential fixes. Davi Torres + + + --- --- + + TL;DR of a great yet long discussion - some yet unknown change fixes the issue somewhere between 10.0 and 10.6. Since we have no other leads to debug we are + bisecting this until we know better what it might be.
