Public bug reported:

The autopkgtests (upstream tests) for mkdocstrings-legacy-python fail
[1] with mkdocstrings 1.0.0. The package needs to be updated to work
with mkdocstrings 1.0.0.

Though I do see an upstream commit [2], there is no clarity about
when/if upstream will do a new release for this change [3].
