Public bug reported:
the debian/control file lists as the minimum required version of xcb-
proto to be 1.15, while the configure.ac file in the project requires
xcb-proto with a minimum version of 1.17 (line 53 in configure.ac). It
is natural that we should bump this requirement in debian/control as
well to maintain consistency of requirements across the project.
