Public bug reported:
The package fails to build from source on ppc64el during the testing
phase. While compilation completes successfully, the test-backend-ops
binary crashes with an ILLEGAL exception.
This indicates that the compiler (likely due to -O3 optimizations) is
generating CPU instructions (possibly VSX/vector extensions) that are
not supported by the CPU architecture of the build daemon.
