Framework Laptop 13 (Meteor Lake).
On Ubuntu 25.10 with kernel 6.17.0-8-generic, plugging in Kensington
SD5560T causes Thunderbolt authorization and then tunnel activation
failure.
Kernel warns in tb_path_activate (drivers/thunderbolt/path.c:587), “PCIe
Down path activation failed”, followed by DP tunnel failures and
disconnect.
Same dock works on another laptop running Ubuntu 24.04. Issue began week
of Jan 19, 2026.
