I have tried to reproduce the issue by starting the Terminator without a config
and by issuing `terminator -u -g /dev/null`
**Describe the bug**
When using Terminator with more than one pane, resizing panes with the mouse
has become unreliable.
Specifically, it is difficult to make the resize cursor appear on the pane
separator. Often, multiple attempts are required before the resize handle
becomes active.
I have tested this by starting Terminator without any user configuration, and
the problem still occurs.
This behavior was noticeably smoother and easier on Ubuntu 22.04 with
Terminator 2.0.
**To Reproduce**
1. Open a Terminator window.
2. Right‑click inside the terminal and select Split Vertically.
3. Try to adjust the horizontal size of the panes using the mouse.
**Expected behavior**
The resize cursor should appear reliably when hovering over the pane separator,
allowing smooth resizing with the mouse.
**Actual behavior**
The resize cursor appears inconsistently and only after multiple attempts,
making pane resizing frustrating and unreliable.
