Thank you for reporting this bug and making Ubuntu better. I tried
reproducing the issue and it doesn't look like a bug with nautilus but
rather an issue with that specific shortcut.

Switching the default keybinding (settings -> keyboard -> keyboard shortcuts -> 
typing
from Logo+space to something else (e.g. ctrl+i) does seem to correctly switch 
languages.
Is this what you are observing?
