I'm going to mark this bug as invalid, let me explain why:
1. this is not IBM Power/ppc64el related.
2. Ubuntu 23.10 is already EOL.
But please, if you have the opportunity, try one of these Ubuntu
versions:
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Noble Numbut or the latest one, Ubuntu 25.10 Questing
Quokka.
In case you still can reproduce the issue, feel free to file a new bug.
