I changed drivers. The situation did not improve; one could say it actually got worse. After updating to driver version from 535.274.02 to 580.126.09, when executing suspend the PC does not power off. Ctrl + Alt + F2 still works to return to the graphical environment, (Internet no longer works). Although it did not always work correctly, in these cases I used sudo reboot -f to avoid forcing a physical shutdown. Now that command sudo reboot -f no longer works: the terminal gets stuck in an infinite loop of line breaks. Do you want the journal.txt and prevjournal.txt? I repeated the test several times to be sure.
