I'm struggling to make much sense of that crash report. Apport-retrace
doesn't like it, and after manually extracting the CoreDump and loading
it into GDB, and I can't seem to get any symbols despite the Usual
Procedure.

Looking at the process map at least, I see it crashed in the Intel iHD
VA-API driver, so this is unlikely to be a GStreamer bug.

Can you share the complex.mp4 file you used to crash GStreamer?
