We're not married to Totem and certainly not that patch. If it's the
only thing in the way then please drop it.

** Description changed:

Totem only has one diff with Debian:

  - We add this patch

https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/totem/-/blob/ubuntu/latest/debian/patches/91_quicklist_entries.patch

That patch adds static quicklist actions that can be accessed in Ubuntu
by right clicking on the app icon in the dock. The patch was proposed
upstream and rejected in 2012. The upstream maintainer's upstream is
that it duplicates the MPRIS functionality to play and pause multimedia
content which the app supports. That functionality can be accessed in
GNOME's date drop-down menu in the top bar and also in the lock screen.

The patch is inappropriate for Debian since it adds translatable strings
but Debian doesn't have the convenience of Ubuntu's language packs.

A weakness of the patch is that the actions are static. A Play action is
always shown even if no video is selected or if the app isn't running.

- Notably, it has been announced that Ubuntu Desktop 24.04 LTS wants to
+ Notably, it has been announced that Ubuntu Desktop 26.04 LTS wants to
switch from Totem to Showtime for the default video player app. Showtime
also supports MPRIS and does not have quicklist actions. I don't
recommend that we patch Showtime to do that.

Can I sync Totem now (effectively removing the patch)?
