If you choose to use PGP encryption for your wallet this KDE bug I opened ages ago applies: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404136
gpg-agent uses pinentry-kwallet to open the kdewallet Wallet, which in turn starts pinentry-kwallet, or something like that. Interestingly, at least for opening the PGP encrypted wallet, this loop can be exited by stopping the kwalletd / kwalletd6 process. The service will start kwalletd6 again and the wallet is open. ** Bug watch added: KDE Bug Tracking System #404136 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404136 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2120443 Title: pinentry-kwallet called recursively by gpg-agent To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kwalletcli/+bug/2120443/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
