Hello, As I said in comment https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/broadcom- sta/+bug/2078697/comments/10, the patch does not solves the problem.
However, maybe the patch removes the warning. To solve the problem, you need to add `GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="intel_iommu=off"` to `/etc/default/grub` as I explained in comment https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/broadcom- sta/+bug/2078697/comments/12 and confirmed in comment #18. I don't know how to patch the source file to avoid editing GRUB. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2078697 Title: Ubuntu 24.04.1 (kernel ?) freeze/crashes when downloading using broadcom-sta package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/broadcom-sta/+bug/2078697/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
