## Title
nvidia-driver-580-open 580.126.09 breaks automatic shutdown after
hibernate
## Problem Description
After updating NVIDIA driver from 580.95.05-0ubuntu2 to
580.126.09-0ubuntu0.25.10.1, automatic shutdown after hibernate no
longer works.
**Important:** Hibernate itself still works - the system correctly
enters hibernation. The problem is that the system does not
automatically shut down after hibernate, but remains in standby mode.
## System Information

Distribution: Kubuntu 25.10 (Orchid)
Kernel: 6.17.0-12-generic
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti
NVIDIA Driver (problematic): 580.126.09-0ubuntu0.25.10.1
NVIDIA Driver (working): 580.82.07-0ubuntu2 (downgrade)
```
## Steps to Reproduce
1. Install NVIDIA driver 580.126.09-0ubuntu0.25.10.1
2. Execute hibernate: `sudo systemctl hibernate`
3. System enters hibernation
4. **Problem:** System remains in standby, does not automatically shut down
5. Manual shutdown and power-on works, system wakes up correctly
## Expected vs Actual Behavior
- **Expected:** After hibernate, system should automatically shut down
- **Actual:** System remains in standby and does not automatically shut down
## Workaround
Downgrading to NVIDIA driver 580.82.07-0ubuntu2 fixes the problem:
```bash
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-580-open=580.82.07-0ubuntu2
nvidia-dkms-580-open=580.82.07-0ubuntu2
```
**Note:** Version 580.95.05-0ubuntu2 (previously installed) is no longer
available in repositories.
## Additional Information
- Problem occurred after automatic update via `unattended-upgrades`
- Hibernate configuration was correct (swap file, GRUB parameters, initramfs)
- Problem only exists with version 580.126.09-0ubuntu0.25.10.1
- Older versions (580.82.07-0ubuntu2) work correctly
