Hello, thanks for filing this bug; a question regarding the issue, has
the touchpad stopped working after an update or suddenly?
Would it be possible for you to test with a previous Ubuntu ISO to
double check is not an Hardware issue? You do not need to install it,
just to run it as a live CD and see if there is any difference in
behaviour; if the touchpad still doesn't work, I'd point my finger more
to an hardware failure, if not, we can try to understand more through
more logs.
