Hi, if I understand correctly, the kernel you built yourself from the v6.19-rc5 git tree was working properly, while the v6.19-rc5 kernel built by Canonical was still experiencing the EFI issue?
Could it be the case that you built the very latest master version of the kernel, and a fix was included very recently? That would mean that the Canonical mainline build from this week (https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.19-rc8/) also should resolve the problem, and we can expect the issue to trickle down with regular updates to the Ubuntu kernel eventually. Could you try that build? Otherwise, there is most likely a difference in kconfig options between your build of v6.19-rc5 and our build, you could check that by running a diff of the config files for the two kernels in /boot. You could also upload the /boot config file for the kernel you custom built yourself, and that might provide a lead. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138134 Title: Er starte auf dem Lenovoe T430 nur mit noefi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2138134/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
