Public bug reported:

Hello,
The problem occurs with both the installer for version 240.4.3 and the one for
the upcoming version 26.04.

When I choose "custom installation,"

I can choose one partition to install the root directory and another
partition to install the home directory.

When I choose two partitions, the software gets stuck in a loop; it
doesn't even create the /target mount point.

However, there's no problem if I only choose the / partition.

Thanks
