Public bug reported:
I've been running zfs 2.3.4 shipped with Questing running kernel 6.17
and keep getting kernel oops every few days. There's a warning by ZFS
that this kernel is not supported: "ZFS: Using ZFS with kernel
6.17.0-12-generic is EXPERIMENTAL and SERIOUS DATA LOSS may occur!"
Journal shows a kernel oops in ZFS arc_prune thread right before each
freeze.
1) Ubuntu 25.10 (Kubuntu - Questing Quokka), development branch
2) zfs-linux 2.3.4-1ubuntu2
3) I believe ZFS should work with the shipped kernel version.
4) System freeze needing reboot with kernel oops in arc_prune
journalctl -b -7 -k --grep="arc_prune|page fault|Oops"

Fix:
ZFS 2.3.5 adds kernel 6.17 support:

Manually updating resolved the symptoms.
