Public bug reported:

After upgrading to linux kernel 6.17.0-14 the Displayport of my ATI
Ellesmere-GPU is not working anylonger. During the boot process the Linux Mint
symbol is visible and afterwards my 2 monitors doesn't get a signal and are
going to sleep (they are connected by one Displayport cable and the 2nd monitor
is connected to the 1st). Looks like rest of the system works normal since
short press of the power button shutsdown the system like expected.
By going back to kernel 6.14.0-37 everything works like expected again.

Output of "cat /proc/version_signature > version.log" - but this is not the
affected kernel, this is the version which I'm currently using since it's
working:
Ubuntu 6.14.0-37.37~24.04.1-generic 6.14.11

Output of "sudo lspci -vnvn > lspci-vnvn.log" see attached.

'lsb_release -rd':
Description: Linux Mint 22.3
Release: 22.3

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
