Hi - sadly I am not that advanced :) I tightened the system with ufw default deny and enabled, hosts.deny adjusted and login.defs setting default to no for home. Asides from that I have added strawberry, vlc, k3b, krita, inkscape and gimp, plus steam- installer. The default games are removed, as are some internet applications I would never use. I did add a bigger swap file of 4 gigs and removed the tiny 500 meg one. That is all the changes done here. I doubt any of that would impact nvidia dkms building on the new kernel surely ? At a guess, what I have tweaked and added would be quite normal ?
It does build perfectly on 6.18 - just 6.19 has the issue.
