I don't think this issue is specific to Ubuntu, because the same issue that 
brought me here occurred on my Win11 Lenovo laptop. Additionally, there is a 
high-frequency keyboard inop issue(just "3edc" key). After a long time of 
testing, I figured out that uninstalling the drivers of the keyboard and 
touchpad and rebooting will solve it for a little bit, but it will happen again 
soon, or after the next reboot. Someone guessed it has something to do with the 
I/O driver, but I still can not find any solution. But it seems that all 
similar issues occur on machines using AMD processors.
For my laptop, it is using the combination of SDK0T76463 WIN basedboard, AMD 
Ryzen 5 7530U
